COMMUNITY GROUP
If you're interested in expanding your social circle, sharing life's struggles and joys in a safe and empathetic environment, and some informal discussions about faith. Our community group meets bi-weekly.

Imago Dei Drinking
Join us for a lively and thought-provoking discussion of progressive theology, while enjoying a glass of wine (or two).
We explore a variety of topics, such as:
What role does the Bible play in progressive theology?
How can we interpret the Bible in a way that is relevant to our lives today?
What is the relationship between faith and reason?
How can we reconcile our faith with the existence of suffering and evil?
What is the role of social justice in progressive Christianity?
How can we create a more inclusive and welcoming church for everyone?
This group is open to everyone, regardless of their religious background or beliefs. We encourage all participants to share their own perspectives and experiences in a respectful and supportive environment.
Imago meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. at Pastor Matt's house in Huntington Beace. Bring a bottle of wine to share, if you would like.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Here are some specific questions that the group might discuss:
The group is intended to be a safe and supportive space for people to explore their faith and to learn from each other. We encourage all participants to be respectful and open-minded, even if they disagree with each other.
